100 g plain flour | 60 g whole-wheat flour | 20 g oats, | 1 tsp baking powder | 1/8 tsp baking soda | 1/8 tsp salt, | 1/2 no egg | 60 ml milk | 80 ml vegetable oil | 2 tbsp honey, | 50 g brown sugar | 100 g carrot, grated, | 30 g walnut | 100 g cream cheese | 20 g caster sugar | |

Cooking Method

1. | Preheat the oven to 180oC for about 10 minutes. Grease a 6 inches round baking tin. | 2. | Sieve the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add the oats. Set aside. | 3. | Beat the egg briefly. Mix with milk, vegetable oil, honey, brown sugar and grated carrot. | 4. | Mix (3) into (2) with spatula gently. Stir in the walnut. | 5. | Pour the batter into the baking tin. Bake for about 35 minutes until done. Cool for a while on a cooking rack. Beat the cream cheese and caster sugar until smooth. Spread on top of the cake. Slice and serve. |
